Overview

Yulla Kanda is a scenic and spiritual trek located in the Kinnaur region of Himachal Pradesh. The trek leads to the world’s highest Krishna Temple, situated near a peaceful alpine lake at an altitude of approximately 3,895 meters.
The trail begins from Yulla Khas village and covers around 12 km one way through pine forests, meadows, and mountain landscapes.

Day Wise Plan

Day 1
Delhi to Yulla Khas Village =====> The journey begins in the evening from the designated boarding point in Delhi. After meeting the group and trip captain, everyone boards the Tempo Traveller for an overnight drive towards the beautiful Kinnaur Valley in Himachal Pradesh. The route passes through Shimla and the scenic mountain roads of Kinnaur, offering glimpses of changing landscapes throughout the journey. Dinner during travel will be at your own expense, and the night will be spent traveling comfortably in the vehicle.
Day 2
Arrival at Yulla Khas Village =====> By evening, the group reaches the peaceful village of Yulla Khas, surrounded by majestic mountains and untouched natural beauty. After checking into the local homestay, participants can relax, freshen up, or take a short walk around the village to experience the calm Himalayan atmosphere. The day ends with a warm dinner, conversations with fellow travelers, and preparation for the trek ahead. Dinner is included, while breakfast and lunch during the journey are self-sponsored.
Day 3
Trek to Yulla Base Camp & Krishna Temple =====> After breakfast, the trek towards Yulla Kanda begins. The trail stretches approximately 12 kilometers through dense forests of pine, oak, and deodar, scenic meadows, and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Out of the total distance, around 8 kilometers lead to the base camp and the remaining 4 kilometers take trekkers to the famous Krishna Temple, known as the world’s highest Krishna temple. Situated at an altitude of nearly 3,895 meters, the temple and nearby lake create a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. After exploring the area and soaking in the views, the group spends the night camping under a sky full of stars. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included for the day.
Day 4
Trek Down & Return Journey to Delhi =====> The morning begins with breakfast at the campsite followed by the downhill trek back to Yulla Khas village. After reaching the village, participants can freshen up, relax briefly, and relive the memorable moments from the trek before beginning the return journey to Delhi in the evening. The overnight journey is again through the beautiful mountain roads of Himachal Pradesh. Breakfast and packed lunch are included for the day.
Day 5
Arrival in Delhi =====> The group arrives back in Delhi early in the morning, bringing the journey to an end. Although the trek leaves everyone with tired legs, it also leaves behind unforgettable memories, new friendships, stunning photographs, and experiences from the mountains that will stay for a lifetime.
What's Included

The trip includes comfortable Delhi to Delhi transportation via Tempo Traveller along with 2 nights of accommodation, including 1 night at a local homestay in Yulla Khas Village and 1 night of camping at the Yulla Kanda Base Camp. Participants will also be provided with 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners during the trip. An experienced trip captain and trek guide will accompany the group throughout the journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. In addition, all driver allowances, toll taxes, parking charges, state taxes, forest permits, and camping permission fees are included in the package cost.

What's Excluded

The package does not include meals during the travel journey as mentioned in the itinerary, personal expenses, or the cost of mules and porters for carrying personal luggage. Any food or beverages purchased from cafes, local shops, or canteens during the trip will also be self-sponsored. Travel insurance is not included in the package. Additionally, any extra expenses arising due to landslides, natural calamities, weather conditions, roadblocks, or other unforeseen circumstances will have to be borne by the participants. Anything not specifically mentioned under the inclusions section will be considered excluded from the package.
