The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Manali to Jobra through winding mountain roads, pine forests, apple orchards, and the beautiful Rani Nallah River. From Jobra, the trek starts towards Chika through lush meadows and dense forests filled with deodar, oak, maple, and birch trees. Travelers enjoy peaceful riverside landscapes, panoramic mountain views, and camping under the stars at Chika.

After breakfast, the trek continues along the Rani Nallah River through boulder patches, meadows, waterfalls, and alpine valleys. One of the major highlights of the day is Jwara, often called the “Valley of Flowers” of Himachal Pradesh due to its colorful flowers and scenic beauty. As the altitude increases, the landscape changes into rocky glacial terrain before reaching the beautiful campsite of Balu Ka Ghera surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.

This is the most challenging and exciting day of the trek as travelers cross the majestic Hampta Pass at 14,100 ft. The climb includes snow patches, glacial streams, rocky trails, and breathtaking views of Indrasan and Deo Tibba peaks. From the top, trekkers witness the dramatic contrast between the lush green Kullu Valley and the barren landscapes of Lahaul and Spiti. After enjoying the summit views, the trek descends towards Shea Goru where travelers stay overnight in camps beside a beautiful mountain river.

The trek from Shea Goru to Chatru follows a relatively easy downhill trail along the Chandra River through rocky and cold desert landscapes. From Chatru, travelers drive towards the stunning Chandratal Lake, also known as the Moon Lake. Located at 14,100 ft, the lake is famous for its crystal-clear blue water and mesmerizing mountain reflections. After exploring Chandratal, the group returns to Chatru for overnight camping.

On the final day, travelers drive back from Chatru to Manali through rough mountain roads, streams, and scenic Himalayan valleys. The journey passes through Rohtang Pass depending on weather conditions and offers beautiful views of snow-covered peaks and lush green valleys. Upon reaching Manali, travelers can relax and explore local attractions before concluding the trek.
